Who We Are
Originally “City of Desoto Shop with a Cop”; in 2017 the organization expanded, rebranded, formed new leadership, and changed its name to “Jeffco Shop with a Cop. The organization has grown to include a 9-member board (all volunteers) with a registered 501(c)(3). We are fully insured, with an attorney (Scott Harness) and are represented by an outside accounting firm (Werner C. Stichling & Associates). We are made up of over 30 first responder agencies and we shop for children from 11 different Jefferson County public school districts.
Meet Our Board
President Jessica Griffaw
Sgt. at the hillsboro Police Department, and she has served as our President since 2017. She is one of the original founding members of what is now “Jeffco Shop with a Cop.”
Vice President stephanie rogers
Communications supervisor for the festus police department, and served as volunteer since 2017 before being elected vice president in 2024.
Treasurer lewis pippin
Captain of the festus police department, and he served as our vice president from 2017-2024. he is one of the original founding members of what is now "jeffco Shop with a Cop."
Secretary Drew Crews
Drew Crews is a Deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and he has served as our secretary since 2024.
Board Mark Grobe
Mark Grobe is the Captain with the Herculaneum Police Department, and he has served on the board since 2017. He is one of the original founding members of what is now “Jeffco Shop with a Cop.”
Board Ken Strathmann
Kenny Strathmann is a Deputy Chief with Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District. Kenny is a current sitting member of the Jeffco Shop With a Cop Board of Directors.
Board Travis Byers
Travis Byers is a firefighter for the crystal city Fire Department and he is a dispatcher for the festus police department. he has been proudly serving as a board member since 2019.
Board Tracy Johnson
Tracy Johnson is retired from the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office. She has served as a Volunteer for over a year, and she became a board member in 2023.
Board Joe St. Clair
Joe St. Clair is dispatcher for jefferson county 9-1-1 dispatch and he also serves as a sgt. for the normandy police department . he became a board member in 2023.
